Toxins, Toxins, Everywhere: Turning Foe into Friend

School of Molecular & Cellular Biology,
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
The Wilson laboratory studies the molecular interactions and mechanisms by which protein toxins produced by pathogenic bacteria cause toxic effects on animal cells. This presentation will focus on their research to design novel anti-toxins for post-exposure therapeutics and to use toxins as platforms for bacterial toxin-inspired drug delivery.
