Bacterial Symbionts of Marine Invertebrates:
A Resource for Drug Discovery
Dr. Hill is a marine microbiologist who has received numerous academic awards. His research interests focus on the diversity and roles of microbial symbionts associated with marine invertebrates, in particular sponges, as sources of novel bioactive compounds with pharmaceutical potential, but also marine microalgae for production of biofuels and other bioproducts as well as marine molecular microbiology.

Exit Pier V Garage through the Pratt Street door and enter the Colwell Center white canvas & glass tent for the social hour and dinner through its Pratt Street or side doors.
